11 ApriI 2010 - I had occasion to look at the Path Forward website and was grateful to find references to good material on the ELCA.  I'd like to recommend one more piece, part of the burgeoning dialogue about how the ELCA ought to respond to the changing world.  This process is called LIFT (Living Into the Future Together) and the author is Tim Wengert, professor of confessions at our Philadelphia seminary.  See http://liftelca.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/wengert.pdf.  Peace,  Bishop Martin Wells
